Basics on simple ploughs |
The
bed ploughs are used mainly for right-hand turning of the furrow slice. This
plough can be mounted, semi-mounted and they are popular because of their
simple ease of handling and their light weight. When they are used they have
only one course or they should be turned or you should go with them back without
performing any work (which raise the problem of soil compaction), or we can
work in the course of there and back but this way we can form beds and back
ridges.
The essence of the practise is in the fact that the work should be started in the middle of the balk with the turning of the furrow slice inside. They are often used wet lands where because of the back ridge forming the redundant water quantity flows away on the edge of back ridge.
